Big Brother 11: The coup d’etat and HoH results week 6 coming up!

Everyone knew that last night was to be a big one for Big Brother. Just how big it was remained to be seen and Big Brother was going to be prepared for anything which might happen. As part of this preparation, the house went on lock down early Thursday morning with the normally live eviction being taped around noon. A move to ensure that no action would be missed in the hour long normal broadcast. One that really did not seem that necessary other then to get under the skin of all the live feed viewers. But what a show it was! Everything that America has been asking to happen with the Coup D’Etat did happen and Team Meat head faced a devastating blow!
To start things off, Julie kinda gave things away at the beginning of the show when she stated that the Coup had been unleashed, but thats OK it just made the waiting for the hammer to fall all the better. Things went surprisingly normally with the HoH interview at which point Chima stated she was not 100% sure, but 99.9% sure that Jeff was the wizard. Turns out she was right and when the time came for Julie to ask the wizard to stand up if he or she wished to use the power, Jeff popped up and stripped Lydia and Russ off the block replacing them with Natalie and Jessie.

The votes came in with no notable surprises:
- Lydia voted to evict Natalie
- Jordan voted to evict Jessie
- Michele voted to evict Jessie
- Kevin voted to evict Jessie
- Russell voted to evict Natalie
So, nothing really shocking there and once again Jessie got sent home packing. He did do a extremely better job this year and he in fact did elicit a small tinge of sympathy for his predicament, but Jessie’s arrogance reminds the viewer in short order that this guy got exactly what was coming to him. As soon as he was put up on the block he stripped off his T-shirt to reveal his eviction shirt which was a picture of him pumped up with the words
The Man, The Myth, The legend
on the front. The back had the words or something to the effect of, “Take it all in” Whatever, don’t let the door hit ya on the way out sir.

After wards, there was the HoH competition, “Hit the Road” which entailed the house guests going up against each other two at a time answering a question pertaining to either a past Veto, Have or Have Not, or HoH competition. The person who buzzed in first and answered correctly would go to the next round choosing the next two contestants the loser would be eliminated. Kevin and Lydia were up first, Kevin won and chose Jeff and Russell, Russell lost so Jeff chose Chima and Natalie, Chima won and chose Jeff and Jordan, Jeff won and chose Kevin and Chima, Kevin wins and choses Jeff and Michele and Michele lays the spank down on Jeff first then Kevin. Michele is the new HoH! What is interesting to note is the manner with which Chima was calling out Jeff during this. She was making it blazingly clear she did not want him to win.
Michele in the drivers seat is going to bring an unknown into the house. If she plays strategically, perhaps she’ll nominate Russell and Chima. But what about Jeff and Russell and sticking to Chima’s Girl Power theme? Who knows, but it will be an interesting week for sure!
