Man attempts to kill girlfriend on Amazing Race 15

Who could have imagined they would get to see Canaan committing attempted murder on Sunday night’s episode of The Amazing Race?  Certainly not poor little Mika!!!  Poor Mika, poor, poor mika, she gets involved with Canaan who seems like such a wonderful guy.  A songwriter, goes with his church on a mission to Mexico, who could have thought he was such a mean, mean man!  Pffft lol, whatever.  Mika refused to go down an amusement park water slide, plain and simple.  You can see as much n the video below, around 2:38 in you’ll see where Mika starts tripping.  Canaan tries to help her down… Just a little bit… LoL.

Let this be a lesson to you guys, when choosing your teammate for The Amazing Race do not be tempted to take someone because you wish to, “Aww, make our relationship stronger, I love her!”  This is the Amazing Race people!  Choose your teammate while considering things like, physical ability, mental prowess, mental toughness and perhaps a little bit of freaking crazy wildthingedness!  Mika has been fearful for her life this whole season as the producers happily pointed out throughout the show on Sunday night and finally it caught up to her and Canaan and brought them to the end of their Amazing Race experience.

Admittedly, Canaan, did put his hands on Mika.  Certainly, though, he’s been doing more putting his hands on her after they get back to the hotel each evening!  Listening to what he had to say to her made the most perfect sense, he was attempting to save their position in the race and give her the chance to push past her weakness.  Given an opportunity like this, the last thing a person should be saying is, “You can’t make me!”  Typical response from a typical girly girl though, too bad for Canaan, enlightening for the rest of us.  Wise choices people, from start to finish in the whole process, make the decisions to win!  Perhaps a bit of cash invested in therapy beforehand could have improved their chances for a win.  Beats me.

The rest of the show that evening was pretty hit and miss.  There was some juicy stuff with Ericka and Brian.  This girl is all about doing the least bit of work possible and spending any money along the way that she can.  One thing she isn’t though, is afraid to push herself when she has to.

Cheyne and Meghan won this leg, just kicking ass the whole way which seems to be becoming the norm.  Meghan is a bit off her rocker when it comes to letting go and depending upon someone else to run the race for the team.  They’ve picked well though as Cheyne is a winner, rock solid, smart, physical, tough, the guy has got it going on.

Flight time and Big Ez ran into some difficulties though, in the Sunday’s roadblock, “Row your Boat,” which involved one contestant rowing a little plastic raft out to a big yacht to get a clue to opening a locked briefcase.  First of all, Big Ez should never of been in that raft, LOL, the shit was hilarious, This guy is 10′ tall trying to fit himself into a 5′ plastic blow up raft.  His 8′ arms could not maneuver the paddles so he eventually abandoned those in favor of using his arms for paddles.  Actually that worked out well and he got his clue, A watch which wasn’t running but set to the time of the combination to the briefcase and began tryin to figure it out.

Unlike each of the teams Big Ez absolutely could not figure out the combination!  He was positive one number was 8 and one was 7 since the two hands were on 8 and 7.  From there, he just figured to find the last number and obviously ran into a mental block watching every other team come and go while he struggled to figure out the simple combo of 8:35 which most of us know has the big hand on the 7 and the little hand on the 8.  They got to the roadblock in 4th place and left in last.

They made up some time but were still in last place when they came upon Mika struggling with her fears of going down the leap of faith slide and had to wait two minutes before they could pass up the previous team.  Big Ez and Flight Time helped make Mika’s decision a bit more difficult by egging her on saying things like, ” Don’t Do IT!”  LoL, this pissed Canaan off and he wasn’t afraid to tell Big Ez he felt he was slime.  Whatever, GG Flight Time and Big Ez, yer still in it!
