Big Brother 11 brought to you by CBS

As another season of Big Brother winds down the time arrives when BB fanatics begin to contemplate their feelings about the season and it is no different here!  Clearly, this season has been one of quitters, sleepers, smokers and floaters.

Obviously the quitter, Chima, did not truly quit the game but was expelled by the big bad momma wolf herself Allison Grodner.  Thats big, something that shook the Big Brother world and turned out to be quite entertaining.  Sure she was expelled, but it was obvious Chima was trying to get kicked.  Enough about that though, moving on to the sleepers.

Well really, just sleeper, Jessie!  This goon was as pathetic this year as he was last, sleeping 13 hours a day, having his little minions go fetch him dinner and do his laundry!  He did quite a job at sticking around for one more episode this year, but clearly this guy has only one concern in life and that is himself.  He actually livened up in the jury house though which almost took him off this list.  But lets face it, the guy sucks at Big Brother.  The curious thing is why would players who were Big Brother savants and know it alls like Ronnie and Natalie team up with this fool?

Smokers? O. M. G. Casey!?!  This guy did one thing in the house.  Sit in the back yard smoking cigarettes!  Is there anything else which needs to be said about Casey’s game play?

Ahh yes and finally the floaters.  It has been a while since a group of house guests have floated as well as these guys have.  Natalie has literally only won one competition.  ONE!  Amazing!  Jordan has not fared much better truly only winning a PoV until her smack down of Natalie the other night.  Kevin has turned things up this last month and truly did have the best move in the game with his lie to Jeff.  But truly the guy was non-existent up until that point.

Perhaps with the continuing seasons of Big Brother folks are adapting to BB strategy and old methods of playing the game are not as functional as they once were.  Perhaps floating is the way to go now days?  Hopefully this is not the case.  Consider the thousands of applicants for Big Brother just frothing at the mouth to get into this house that got passed up this season for the quitter, sleeper, smoker and floaters.

So I have been logging into the Auchindoun server on and off for the last week or so.  I’ve been working on a DK while awaiting a response from Ronnie Talbot who has a character on this server.  Last night I got in touch with one of his buddies that got me speaking with the rat himself!

Ronnie couldn’t really speak about things except to say that he does want to do an interview but I have to run everything through CBS which is totally cool with me.  So hopefully I’ll be getting some more cool BB scoop to run with before too long…

Woot WOot!

As a side note, I’d like to make mention that I’ve had two negative comments since I started putting up content on my examiner.com page.  At first, I responded, taking the criticism which was not really that constructive and trying to make a positive out of it.  After thinking about things a bit though I feel as if these comments both came from the same person and that person is a fellow examiner.  I even feel like I know which examiner it is and I would just like to say this.  I’m sorry if I scooped you, I’m sorry if I got a quarter million hits over the last ten days.  It wasn’t my intention to make you pout and make you sad.  I’m just out there trying to bring good content out there and and get people interested in my subject matter.  I realize at times my writing may not be up to highest of standards and that you may find fault with it.  What I ask is that when you find fault with what I’m writing, please bring it up to me in a manner which is either cordial and constructive or private.  I have not gone to any examiners site with negativity.  And when I was approached via email by a fellow examiner more then once I only shared my thoughts positively and hopefully constructively.  I’m not saying I’m some guru, I got a lucky strike for sure, but I am there to gain experience and grow as a writer.

Can’t you just feel the love?

Tonight on Big Brother, some serious tension became apparent in the house.  Russell and Michele had become cozy with one another and were talking in the HoH about game when Michele lets on that Chima, Jess, and Natalie all wanted Russell out.  At no point did she mention that they wanted to “Back Door” Russell.  So after Michele leaves, Russell runs down and starts chatting up Jessie and Natalie about their conversation and King Russell the Love Muscle decides to get to the bottom of things and has his minion Natalie go forth and summon Chima to the HoH room so he can discuss matters.  Once she’s up there he wastes no time getting to the point of the conversation that Chima had been prepped for by Natalie and says that Michele had told him that Chima wanted to win HoH and back door him next week.  She is pissed and says lets get her up here, Michele shows up, Russell tells Michele that he told Chima that Michele told him that Chima wanted to back door him.  Well Michele states that he’s lying which he gets all in a huff about her just saying that and she’s lying.  Well, things promptly escalate with more he said, she said then you can shake a stick at eventually leading to Chima and Russ running downstairs yelling the whole way at each other.  The stuff was legendary Big Brother television.

Next up on the agenda was the live eviction but first America had to find out who won the Coup D’Etat and true to the poll conducted here, Jeff won the Coup D’Etat.  So prior to the eviction, Julie informed the house guests of the fact that one of them had a mystery power and they could use it now.  Jeff, did not choose to use his power which was expected and the eviction moved along.  Ronnie in his speech totally bashed Michele calling her basically the lowest form of scum in existence, whatever.  The vote came out 4-3 with Ronnie being the 4th house guest evicted this season.  While, Ronnie put forth a great effort at staying in the house this week, simply put the damage had been done already, repeatedly, over and over.  Bye bye boohoo Ronnie, been nice watching ya!

Chima wins Head of Household for week 5!

For the HoH competition they had a basic question and answer session with Julie covering messages left by America’s call in comments on the game and show.  From songs to advice the house guests got to hear it all the night before and were  asked questions on it all for HoH Comp.  This was similar to a competition that was held in a previous season of BB but afterwards on the live feed the house guests stated that the duration was nowhere near as long as it was from that season.  Chima wound up winning which is a great thing to happen when it comes to the Coup D’Etat usage.  With any luck both of Chima’s nominations will be replaced by Jessie and Natalie come Thursday night!  Of course, seeing Chima nominate them on her own wouldn’t be a bad thing either… Would it?

Tonight in the BB house all hell broke lose.  Natalie and Jesse seem to have pulled the wool over the love muscle’s eyes and have him on the Ronnie bandwagon.  Its amazing though, they’re almost convincing the house that Michele is the rat rather then Ronnie!  LOL!

Russell called a house meeting where he started out trying to explain how he’s Mr. Truthful and Michele is Miss Rat then Michele called his punk card and then Chima was with Michele then against Michele, then later after all was over back with her.  Natalie is truly off her nappy headed rocker, the bitch screams and yells and talks so fast she almost makes herself believe whats she saying.. A frickin nnoying!

I’m telling ya people, there will be no surprise in my mind whatsoever if Lydia gets sent packing tommorrow night.

Ronnie, of Big Brother 11, certainly has brought some good times to the house.  He has had his ups and downs but this week Ronnie finds himself in a very dangerous position and his prospects are looking bleaker by the hour. So who is Ronnie anyway?  Ronnie is a young man whom is blessed with a photographic memory, has been obsessed with Big Brother since season one, is a debate champion, plays World of Warcraft on the Auchidoun realm.  Ronnie’s wife gave an interview with Reality BBQ which can be found here.  In it, she discusses Ronnie’s game pre-CaseyViction among other interesting topics.  Big Brother know it alls everywhere had some very high hopes for this player upon the cast reveal.  He does have what one would think it takes to do well in the Big Brother House. So what went wrong anyway with this student of the games game?  For all his the bright spots in Ronnie’s game theory, sadly, he has just as many faults.

The evil plot forms

First off and foremost like so many players on Big Brother this season, Ronnie is extremely transparent in his lies.  Its been said that the best way to move your game forward in the BB house is a well prepared lie.  Its apparent not many have a clue about the meaning of those words this season in the house.  Ronnie is just too smart for his own good.  His incessant scheming and running of scenarios in his head leads him to try and implement every possible plan with every possible player.  Reminiscent of Bryan in season 10, players simply cannot invite everyone aboard their canoe thats going to take them to the final 2.  Ronnie is unwilling to trust anyone truly and when he does give a bit of trust out he gives it to the biggest meat head in BB.  Did you skip season 10 Ronnie?  How could you ally yourself with Jesse!?!  What were you thinking man?!?  Just a sloppy game, he thought he could hold up this wall of lies and get away with it and as America is seeing, its not happening!  As an aside, he’s a Boohoo Baby who is truly in a pool of sharks.  He doesn’t seem to have the mental fortitude to handle peoples attacks without squirting some, tears that is.  Truly it is easy to pick apart this young man’s game sitting outside the house watching from a flat screen TV, munching on popcorn, drinking a brew.  Its understandably more difficult once you are inside but come on Ronnie, man up!  What are some things that could be Ronnie’s saving grace though?

Ronnie is truly a master manipulator.  Watching Ronnie work sometimes is a joy the way he can spin a house guest’s words around and have them come out in a way that will benefit himself.  His knowledge of game play strategy is quite deep.  His early move to ally with the athlete clique was a smooth one which could have been great had he kept things on the DL.  His negative attribute of being a boohoo baby is also one of his best attributes in that he has a keen ability to evoke a sense of pity from his fellow house guests.  Do not be surprised to see Lydia go home on Thursday night.  It is highly unlikely but if anyone could pull a beautiful bean out of his bag it would certainly be Ronnie.

So today for lunch I decided to take a chill and head to the crib and check me out some big brother on the live feed…  Typically at my lunchtime the houseguests are in bed or just rousing so I decided to take a look at some of the Quirkydudes Hottest Clips.  I must say that its kinda amazing the amount of stuff that CBS does to the way we view the program on the actual show.

Russell the Love Muscle

But check this shit out.  I see a hot clip for, ‘Russell visits Ronnie‘ and I’m like damn this will be good, get to see the Love Muscle dog out Ronnie the Rat some more.  That couldn’t be a bad way to spend my lunch.  So I click it on and start watching and the first thing I see is Russell sayin a few words to Casey as Casey is jettin out to the back porch like he usually does in the morning for his cup-o-jo.  Ok whatever, but then it gets interesting.  Russell runs over to the door to make sure Casey is away then he runs back by the kitchen and like looks to make sure everyone is asleep then he stands there for a good 15 seconds just looking at the fridge.  I’m thinking what the fuck is this cat up to? Then all of a sudden, Ol boy just takes off up the stairs to the HoH room.  Check out the screenshot.

LOL, omg, wtf!  So he darts up the stairs all secret agent like and just oh so slightly knocks on the HoH Door.  He slithered inside the room as quickly as Ronnie opened up the door and proceeded to ask Ronnie if he still trusted him.  Telling him about how he’s the only one in the house who has Ronnie’s back and he’s had to put on a big show of demeaning Ronnie to the house but he’s really there for him.  When Ronnie asked about Jesse, he even kinda told Ronnie that Jesse isn’t there for him, only himself.  He threw the whole house against Ronnie, telling him that he was going to win the comp and ensure Ronnies safety.  The shit was hilarious and most importantly the shit cam about before the show!  But as far as the people who only see the show are aware, Ronnie is still living in fear of Russell, hates him, wants him outta here, wishes he never let him slide etc etc etc.  Its an awesome job they’re doing to extract shock value at a later point in the game.  Hats off to the producers they truly know how to work the House for TV.

Time for the Quick Getaway

During their conversation, Russell kept having Ronnie flip through the various HoH camera feeds so he could see if danger was coming from anywhere,  finally after about 15 minutes I guess he decides he’s wearing out his welcome and should leave.  But first Ronnie, make sure ya check out the cameras one last time before I go slithering away…

Its hard to say what I think about this Russell cat.  He’s annoying as hell, seems like he’s trying to be an Evel Dick, but truly he seems to me like the Diet Coke of Evel, Just 1 calorie, not evel enough lol!  But whatever, I do like that he’s able to maneuver without everyone knowing all that he’s doing although he’s not well liked he’s got a knack and the Jesse, Russell, Ronnie trio is pretty interesting if they don’t just throw the Rat under the table this week.

So after a brilliant first week we have a house in turmoil primarily due to one player…  Ronnie the Rat!  OMG, I just don’t know what to think about this cat!  I mean, the guy is a quite accomplished debate speaker or as he told Chima last week he’s a champion in persuasive speaking lol.  That moment alone was a hoot, you could just sense that he was just bursting forth at the seams waiting for the opportunity to tell someone that he is in fact something other then a geek loser boy.

Whew, who knows though, I can see some logic in his moves that he has made to this point.  I could envision his moves furthering him in the game but he’s making the mistake of including the whole house in his plans.  He’s basically pulling a Bryan from season 10 where he is trying to befriend the whole house by talking about everyone behind their back and the shit is transparent!  People know he’s a rat, Laura, dubbed him Ronnie the Rat, not one person in this house trusts hims save perhaps for Jesse.

The whole deal that Ronnie set up with Jesse could have been positively brilliant if it was simply between those two, he didn’t claim he pulls the strings for the Brain team, and finally the most important mistake of that is this:  DID YOU NOT WATCH BB 10?  Don’t you know Jesse is the most self absorbed, dumbass to play the game in years?  Jeez man, wtf?

Ronnie said in the Diary room his plan was to back door Russell, veto comp happens, Jeff wins, Jordan goes up.  WTF?  You told America your plans on national tv, then given the opportunity to follow thru with your sinister game changing plan you chose to listen to Jesse and let Russell the Love Muscle off the hook.  Russell then proceeds to talk the biggest trash about the Rat that Ronnie has probably heard since Jr. High.  Ahhh well.  Perhaps Ronnie will see the error in his ways come week 3 when he’s just a nobody.

Ronnie did win the HoH comp which is the only reason he hasn’t been called out on all his BS, but that will all change next week.  It will be interesting to see how Jesse treats the ratman when he’s got the chance to vote for his eviction.
